The book that I finished was called pain and wastings by: Carrie Mac. I really liked the book because I could relate to it really well, the book was about a boy he was 6 years old and his mom was with him in a small apartment because she never had money. She was doing Heroin and she will keep doing it till this one time she went to the bar and met this guy they went to her place. Ethan is in the closet and they did their thing but he killed her and left her in the room to rot and ran but Ethan was a little boy not knowing what happened. He kept coming back feeding the little boy maybe the mother was haunting him making sure he was feeding her son. Then he walked to the fire department and they asked where his mother was he said she had been sleeping for a long time and they went to go check and she was dead. 10 years later he’s in a foster home 16 years old not knowing exactly what happened to his mom till he does community service with a girl named holly as a ambulance girl and she knew his mother.
